I’ve been performing improv comedy for around 10 years now. I teach improv and provide coaching. I’m always looking for new ways to talk about improv ideas to communicate them more effectively. I decided to start a blog to talk about these ideas rather than my old strategy of boring people at parties.
Another passion of mine is role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, which are also improv. There will be some of that content as well, though my main intention right now is to cover the type of improv that is performed in front of an audience.
The plan is to post an article weekly (at least) about some interesting facet of improv (or at least interesting to me). Feel free to leave (respectful) comments (e.g., “Great blog post, but you are overusing parentheticals (e.g., (this)).”)
